Registered Clinical Counsellor | Trauma-Informed Therapist | Somatic Psychotherapist
Independent Clinician, Breakthrough ADHD Center

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor specializing in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic psychotherapy, with a clinical background spanning community mental health, correctional environments, and forensic psychiatric services.

Those environments shaped the way I see people. Working alongside individuals whose nervous systems had been stretched to their limits by unresolved trauma, fractured attachments, and complex histories taught me something I carry into every session: behaviour is never the whole story. Beneath every outburst, every shutdown, every pattern that looks like defiance or disconnection, there is a nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to survive. That understanding is at the heart of everything I do, and it is especially essential when working with children with ADHD and ASD.

These children are often exquisitely sensitive, brilliantly wired, and profoundly misunderstood. Many carry layers of early attachment disruption or unrecognized trauma that standard approaches miss entirely. My work is to get underneath the surface, to help children, parents, and families understand why the nervous system responds the way it does, and to gently, sustainably build the safety and regulation that makes real, lasting change possible.

As an independent clinician at Breakthrough ADHD Center, I work with children, individuals, couples, families, and parents, bringing a nervous system–informed perspective to some of the most complex and nuanced presentations we see. I pay close attention to how a parent's own attachment history shapes the parent-child relationship, and I support families in shifting those patterns with compassion, patience, and clarity. These children don't need someone who sees their diagnosis as a checklist. They need someone who understands the depth and nuance of how they experience the world. That is the work I show up for every day.

My clinical toolbox includes:

  • Trauma-informed therapy
  • Attachment-based therapy
  • Somatic psychotherapy (body-based nervous system regulation)
  • Emotional regulation support
  • Nervous system–informed care
  • Parent coaching and attachment repair
  • Support for individuals, couples, and families

I'm honoured to work alongside the multidisciplinary team at Breakthrough ADHD Center, clinicians who bring deep, specialized expertise and who collaborate closely so that every child and family receives care that is coordinated, thorough, and truly attuned to who they are.
