Meet the Team at ADHD Breakthrough Center
Sammy Oh, Ph.D., DNM, CBS
As a child, I saw firsthand how brain function affects people’s quality of life.
My brother’s brain injury changed not only his childhood but our entire family. Then, as a mother, I saw how hard it is for parents to help their children overcome their ADHD symptoms.
“It was like being lost in a labyrinth. I was taking my son to up to 20 appointments a month with four different professionals. On top of that, I was meeting with his school teachers, administrators and counselors. They all were wonderful and caring. Each had a plan, but none aligned with the others. It was up to me to try to make all the plans work together.”
At that point, I felt hopeless and helpless. My son and I were doing so much work, but his symptoms were just getting worse.
I wanted to find a way to help my son and other children whose ADHD cases confounded most practitioners. So in 2006, I founded Bioscan Wellness Center, which later became Health Optimizing Langley.
I spent years learning from top experts from across the globe. I began working with the Institute of Nutritional Endocrinology. I learned to assess the brain and gut through the cutting-edge technologies. I became a board-certified biofeedback specialist and a doctor of natural medicine. (DNM 2813-063 through the Board of Natural Medicine Doctors and Practitioners)
Sixteen years later and after completing 300,000+ scans assessing the brain-body connection on thousands of clients, I developed the Breakthrough ADHD method. We are a close-knit team of caring ADHD experts who genuinely care about the well-being of our clients. Our approach is rooted in the latest advancements in technology and a thorough understanding of neurocognitive functions.
